About the meeting of the Ambassador A.Ponomarev with the Head of “The Unity of the Revolutionary Youth of Syria”
19.12.2016On the 19th of December the Ambassador A.Ponomarev met with the Head of “The Unity of the Revolutionary Youth of Syria” organization and the deputy of the People's Assembly of Syria Mr.Ma'an Abboud.
During the meeting the sides discussed the prospects of cooperation between the youth organizations of both countries, exchanged the information on youth programes, discussed the possibilities of organizing the rest and recreation of Sytian children in Belarusian children's camps. The possibility of organizing the exchange of visits of the representatives of the youth organizations was also discussed. Mr.Abboud expressed his readyness to visit Belarus in February 2017 according to the program proposed by the Belarusian side as well as to study the possibility of sending the observers from his organization to take participation in the meeting of young savers which is organized in July in Belarus by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus.
The Ambassador A.Ponomarev expressed his readyness to meet with the members of the Syrian youth organization to present an informative lecture about Belarus. Both sides agreed on setting the exchange of information between the Syrian and the appropriate Belarusian organizations.
In the end of the meeting the Ambassador A.Ponomarev was briefly interviewed by the national “Syria TV”
