About the visit of Deputy Minister of Health of Belarus Mr.Vaery Shevchuk to Syria
09.12.2016Since the 5th till the 8th of December 2016 Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus Mr.Valery Shevchuk had an official visit to Damascus.
On the 6th of December the Belarusian delegation participated in the workshop (round table) dedicated to the export potntial of the Republic of Belarus in the sphere of health and medicine and the prospects of cooperation with Syria. Belarusian exporters and producers of pharmaceutical products, medical devices and equipment had the opportunity to make their presentations. Negotiations with businessmen of Syria who are interested in the Belarusian products and services also took place.
During the visit to Damascus the Belarusian delegation met with the Prime-Minister of Syria Mr.Imad Khamis, Minister of Health Dr.Nizar Yazigy, Minister of Industry Mr.Ahmad Al Hama and the Grand Mufti of Syria Dr.Ahmad Badr Eddine Hassoun.
On the 7th of December Deputy Minister of Health of Belarus Mr.V.Shevchuk and his Syrian collegue Dr.Huda Saed signed on the Roadmap of implementation of the Agreement between the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Healt of the Syrian Arab Republic in the sphere of production and mutual supply of pharmaceutical products and medical equipment, signed in Geneva on 24.5.2016.
