About presenting the Credentials by the Ambassador A.Ponomarev to the President of Lebanon

     On the 21st of April 2017 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in the Syrian Arab Republic, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Lebanese Republic (concurrent) Mr.Aleksandr Ponomarev  presented the Credentials to the President of the Lebanese Republic General Michel Aoun.

     Durint the conversation which followed the ceremony of presenting the Credentials the Ambassador Ponomarev and the President Aoun discussed the current state and the prospects of development of the Belarusian-Lebanese relationships as well as a number of issues of the international and regional agenda.

   One day before the Ambassador Ponomarev presented the copies of the Credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of the Lebanese Republic Mr.Gebran Bassil. He also met with the General Secretary of the Ministry Mr.Sharbel Wehbi. During the meetings in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of Lebanon the ways of activating the Belarusian-Lebanese cooperation on various directions were outlined.
