About the visit of the Minister of Industry of Belarus Mr.Vitaly Vovk to Syria
12.04.2017Since the 9th till the 12th of April 2017 the Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, co-chairman of the Joint Belarusiab-Syrian Comission on Trade, Economic and Technical Cooperation, Mr.Vitaly Vovk visited the Syrian Arab Republic at the head of the representatives of the biggest industrial enterprises of Belarus.
During the visit Mr.Vovk met with the Prime-Minister of the Syrian Arab Republic, Minister of Industry, Minister of Local Administration and the Environment, Minister of Economy and the Foreign Trade, Minister of Agriculture and the Agrarian Reforms, Minister of Public Work and Housing as well as the representatives of the Chamber of Industry of Damascus.
The Belarusian-Syrian Industrial Forum was held with the participation of the representatives of the industrial enterprises of Belarus and the representatives of business communities of Syria. A contract about supply of 157 trucks “MAZ” for the needs of the Ministry of Public Work and Housing of Syria was signed.
As a result of the visit the Ministers of Industry of both countries signed on the Final Protocol which reflects the agreements of the two countries in the sphere of activization of the economic cooperation in all the vital fields.
