Belarus and Syria created solid reciprocal legal basis of relations in many various fields.

Large number of bilateral interstate treaties, intergovernmental agreements and MoU was signed.

Among them the most important are the following:

Air Transport agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic;

Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic on Trade, Economical and Technical Cooperation;

Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic on Reciprocal Promotion and Protection of Investments;

Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic on Co-operation in the fields of education, Science and Culture;

Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic for the Avoidance of Double Taxation;

Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic on Co-operation in the field of Tourism;

Information agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic;

Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic on Scientific and Technological Co-operation;

Agreement between the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Health of the Syrian Arab Republic on Co-operation in the sphere of Public Health and Medical Science;

Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic on International Road Transport of Passengers and Goods;

Agreement on cooperation between the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and the People’s Assembly of the Syrian Arab Republic;

Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic on Visa-Free Travel for Holders of Diplomatic and Service Passports;

Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic on Combatting Crimes;

Treaty between the Republic of Belarus and the Syrian Arab Republic on Legal Assistance in Civil and Criminal Matters;

Protocol of exchange of Ratification Lists of the Treaty in Legal Matters;

Intergovernmental Agreement on cooperation in Customs Matters;

Agreement on cooperation in emergency situations;

Agreement on cooperation in medical sphere.

In january 2022, both countries have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the field of Labour and Social Protection.
