Legal basis of bilateral relations

Between the Republic of Belarus and the Lebanese Republic were signed the following agreements:

Agreement on Trade and Economic Cooperation;

Agreement on the promotion and reciprocal protection of investments;

Agreement for the elimination of double taxation with respect totaxed on income and the prevention of fiscal evasion and avoidance;

Agreement on the International Carriage of Passengers and Goods by Road;

Agreement on cooperation in fight against crime;

Agreement on cooperation in the field of higher education;

Cooperation agreement in the field of tourism.

In addition, a number of interministerial agreements have been concluded, including an agreement on cooperation between ministries of culture, a protocol on cooperation between ministries of foreign affairs, a memorandum of understanding between national banks in the field of banking supervision and  other agreements.
