Ambassador of Belarus Y.Sluka meets the Minister of Social Affairs and Labour of Syria S.Abdallah

On November 1, 2020 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Syrian Arab Republic, Yury Sluka, met with the Minister of Social Affairs and Labour of the Syrian Arab Republic Dr. Salwa Abdallah.
During the meeting high potential of bilateral relations was stressed as well as the necessity of increasing of cooperation between the Ministries of both countries.
Special attention was focused on the project for recreation and health recuperation of Syrian children in the Republic of Belarus.
Minister S.Abdallah highly appreciated the Belarusian initiative for the rehabilitation of Syrian children in the Republic of Belarus and expressed her readiness to develop interministerial cooperation.
Ambassador Y.Sluka confirmed the interest of the Belarusian side to strengthen cooperation, including the exchange of visits of delegations after normalization of the situation with COVID-19, and noted the readiness of the Republic of Belarus to continue the implementation of joint projects in the humanitarian sphere.
