Ambassador of Belarus Y.Sluka meets the Minister of Social Affairs and Labour of Syria

On December 3, 2024 Ambassador of Belarus Yury Sluka met with the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor of the Syrian Arab Republic Mrs. Samar Al-Sibai.

During the meeting, the Sides exchanged views on the high importance of the humanitarian project for recreation and health recuperation of Syrian children in the Republic of Belarus, which has been successfully implemented for 7 years under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Belarus.

The Syrian Side accepted the proposal of the Republic of Belarus to send 225 children to the National Children's Educational and Health Center “Zubrenok” in 2025.

Within the period of 2017-2024 years, 1548 Syrian children rested in Belarus at the expense of the Belarusian Side.
