On participation of Ambassador Of Belarus Yury Sluka in the events dedicated to Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War in Jordan

On May 2-3, 2024 Yury Sluka, Ambassador of Belarus to Syria (with concurrent accreditation in Jordan) and the staff of the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Damascus together with the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Russian House in Amman, as well as Belarusian Cultural and Educational Association in Jordan took part in events dedicated to the Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War in Amman.

On May 2, the participants visited the Royal Tank Museum in Amman, where they assigned baskets of flowers to the Soviet tanks, including tank “T-34”. On the same day, Ambassador Yury Sluka gave an interview to the Jordanian media company “Roya Media Group” on current issues of international relations and bilateral cooperation.

On May 3, representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus laid flowers to the sculpture “Stand to the death!” on the territory of the Russian House in Amman. In his speech during the event Ambassador Yury Sluka honored the memory of the War Heroes, as well as called for preserving the historical truth about the great feat of the fraternal peoples.
