On humanitarian aid to the Syrian Arab Republic

On June 26, in the city of Latakia took place an official ceremony of delivery of humanitarian cargo from the Government of the Republic of Belarus to the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic, which includes 6 units of MAZ trucks and construction equipment.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Syrian Arab Republic Yury Sluka in the presence of the Governor of the province of Latakia Amer Hilal, representatives of the Ministry of Local Administration and Environment and the Ministry of Public Works and Housing of the Syrian Arab Republic signed a corresponding act of reception of humanitarian cargo.

The delivered Belarusian-made trucks will be used to restore industrial and civil infrastructure in the most affected areas of Syria.
