Political relations
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan were established on October 15, 1996.
The Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Syrian Arab Republic Yury Sluka was concurrently accredited to Jordan in September 2019.
The Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Russian Federation Amjad Odeh Adaileh was concurrently accredited to Belarus in September 2018.
The Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus met with King Abdullah II of Jordan in April, 2000, during the 103rd Conference of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Amman.
In December 2002, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus paid an official visit to Jordan.
In March 2005 and in October 2013, delegations of the House of Representatives of the Jordanian National Assembly visited Belarus.
In October 2016, consultations at the level of deputy foreign ministers between Ministries of the Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan were held in Amman.
In May 2018, Belarusian delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Semashko visited Jordan.
